ENGINEERED ACCESS SYSTEM

Ringlock Scaffolding System

Complete Ringlock scaffolding systems with supply, hire, engineering and installation support for Australian projects.

RINGLOCK SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM

One complete Ringlock system for Australian projects

HOLDURE Ringlock brings standards, ledgers, braces and platforms together as one adaptable scaffolding system.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Seven Components. Engineered as One.

Review the documented materials, dimensions and system function of each core Ringlock component.

Screwjack (Base Jack)

The adjustable foundation component that transfers vertical load to the supporting base while providing controlled level adjustment during erection.

Q235 steel, hot-dip galvanized
Ø38 × 5 mm screw with a 150 × 150 × 6 mm base plate.

Controlled base adjustment
Technical guidance sets the working adjustment between 100 and 300 mm.

100 kN vertical load
Documented safe working load at 300 mm extension.

See how the Base Jack establishes a level, load-bearing starting point.

Starter (Base Collar)

The starter component positioned above the Base Jack to establish the first rosette connection and begin the Ringlock frame.

Q355 steel starter
Ø48.3 × 3.2 mm tube, hot-dip galvanized.

First rosette node
Positions the initial ledger connection directly above the Base Jack.

Controlled first-level set-out
The first ledger is installed no more than 550 mm above ground.

See how the Base Collar establishes the first Ringlock connection level.

Standard with Bolted Spigot

The primary vertical load-bearing member of the Ringlock system, providing repeatable rosette connection levels for ledgers and bay braces.

Q355 structural steel
Ø48.3 × 3.2 mm tube, hot-dip galvanized.

0.5–4.0 m modular lengths
Available with 1–8 welded rosettes at 500 mm centres.

Axial capacity by lift height
79.59 kN at 0.5 m to 23.77 kN at 2.0 m.

See how the Standard forms the vertical load path through the Ringlock frame.

Ledger O-Type

The horizontal member that connects adjacent Standards, establishes the scaffold bay and supports the assembled Ringlock grid.

Ø48.3 × 3.2 mm tube
Hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection.

0.35–3.05 m length range
Twelve listed sizes support different bay configurations.

Safe working loads by span
Point load ratings range from 23.0 kN to 2.65 kN by length.

See how the Ledger establishes bay width and connects the horizontal scaffold grid.

Bay Brace

The diagonal stabilising member designed for a 2.0 m lift height, connecting across the bay to maintain frame geometry.

Q235 structural steel
Ø48.3 × 2.5 mm tube, hot-dip galvanized.

0.60–3.05 m bay range
Ten listed sizes match the documented 2.0 m lift configuration.

8.4 kN tension and compression
Documented safe working capacity across the listed bay lengths.

See how the Bay Brace stabilises the frame across the selected bay.

Steel Plank O-Type — 241mm Wide

The modular 241 mm platform component installed between supporting members to form the scaffold working surface.

Q235 pre-galvanized steel
1.7 mm sheet thickness with a 241 mm platform width.

0.60–3.05 m modular lengths
Eleven listed sizes align with different Ringlock bay layouts.

AS/NZS 1576.1 duty rated
Light, medium and heavy duty, with UDL ratings up to 13.50 kN/m².

See how Steel Planks combine to form the completed working platform.

Ringlock Toeboard

The edge-protection component installed around the platform perimeter as part of the completed Ringlock working level.

Platform-edge protection
Forms a raised barrier around the completed working level.

Positive pin fastening
Fastening-device pins are tightened during erection.

Final platform fit-out
Completes the platform edge after the main scaffold level is assembled.

See how the Toeboard completes edge protection around the working level.

RINGLOCK CONNECTION

How the Ringlock Node Locks and Transfers Load

Ledgers and bay braces connect to welded rosettes through wedge-head fittings. Once driven into position, the wedges form a rigid node for transferring vertical and lateral forces through the Ringlock frame.

Eight-Position Rosette

Four narrow and four wide openings allow ledgers and bay braces to connect from multiple directions at controlled angles.

Mechanical Wedge Lock

The wedge-head fitting seats against the rosette and is mechanically locked during erection to secure the connected component.

Verified Node Strength

Documented tests include 20 kN one-sided shear, 25 kN tensile capacity and 80 kN·cm bending resistance, with no component damage.

See the locking sequence

Watch how the ledger end engages the rosette and the wedge is driven into its locked position.
